Go to "Start", "Control Panel", Double-click on the "Network Connections".

Right-click the "Local Area Connection" icon and from the popup menu, choose "Properties".

Select the "General" tab. Uncheck option "Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity." Click "OK."

Check if DSL router is malfunctioning. Power cycle or Re-configure router.

To ensure that the problem does not lie on computer's network card configurations and network cabling, thoroughly check these.

To determine if the firewall is blocking you from connecting to the network or Internet, Check it thoroughly. Disable the firewall first and then connect to the network or Internet. Reset or uninstall if firewall causes connection issues and re-install firewall.

Decrease your connection speed to 10 Mbps and to determine if it fixes the issue, test it properly. Go to "Start" menu-> "Control Panel"-> "System" and "Device Manager."Review the network card properties. Select "Advanced tab", Locate "Link Speed and Duplex" section.

Change settings to make it "10Mbps/Full Duplex" from "Auto Detect".
